Culture Coventry (UK)

Culture Coventry Trust manages the largest visitor attractions in Coventry; Coventry Transport Museum, the largest collection of road transport in the UK, Herbert Art Gallery & Museum, which celebrates the history and art of Coventry; The Lunt Roman Fort, the only reconstructed timber fort in the UK; The Old Grammar school, a renovated grade 1* listed building, and the City Archives. Culture Coventry delivers talks, public events, and open days, engaging with the public at all levels and also participates in many outreach talks and events promoting the city’s heritage to residents and visitors. It has more than 800,000 visitors per year to its museums and engages with more than 200,000 at offsite events. Culture Coventry’s Herbert Media team specialises in enhancing the life skills and employment opportunities of young people with learning disabilities through production of digital media resources and the delivery of formal and informal vocational training. These are themed upon identity using the arts and heritage, creativity, museum collections and the local urban environment and include accredited and non-accredited programmes.
