Ivica Štelmachovič Bumová

Dr. Ivica Štelmachovič Bumová graduated in ethnology and history and holds a doctorate in ethnology from Institute of Ethnology, Slovak Academy of Science, Bratislava. She specializes on history of Central European Jewish communities while employing both historical and ethnographical methods. Her interest also lies in discussion of the processes of othering of Jewish communities, past and present. In collaboration with Dr. Kovács she will be responsible for and the co-leader of WP 6 mapping, ethnography and analysis of heritage ‘offer’ in Slovakia as well as for the corresponding reports.
