Roger Soler-i-Martí

Roger Soler-i-Martí is a Postdoctoral researcher at the Center for Youth, Society and Comunication Studies (JOVIScom) at Pompeu Fabra University (UPF). He holds a PhD in Political Science by the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB). His research deals with the relation between young citizens, politics and democracy. He has been involved in research on political behaviour, social movements, institutional politics, sociology of youth, generational dynamics, public policies, and environmental and social change.
In the last years he has actively participated in both national and international research projects. He has worked at the Catalan Youth Observatory promoting research on youth fields and knowledge transfer from research to public policies.
He works both with qualitative and quantitative analysis through a mixed-methods research orientation. He has been trained on survey analysis in the Centro de Investigaciones Sociológicas (CIS) and is also postgraduated in Qualitative and Participatory Research by the UAB.
In CHIEF, he is co-leading the survey WP3 at the consortium level and WP3 and WP7 at the team level even if he is also involved in other WPs.
