Yıldırım Şentürk (a Partner 8 Team Lead & researcher) is Associate Professor in the Sociology Department of Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University (Istanbul, Turkey). He received his M.A. degree in sociology (1999) from the University of Chicago and his Ph.D. degree in sociology (2004) from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (UIUC) respectively. He is interested in urban and space studies, neoliberalism, transnational studies, labour, and qualitative research.
